KOSÉ SEKKISEI Beauty Workshop; I Can Haz Snow White Skin! [GIVEAWAY ALERT]

Hello peeps! Have you heard of the skincare/cosmetic brand called KOSÉ? I'm sure you do! It's all over the internet now :p Well I was lucky enough to attend a KOSÉ SEKKISEI workshop few days ago and I've totally fell in love with this Japanese brand. Who doesn't love snow white skin... right? ;)

The workshop was held at Fresca Mexican Kitchen & Bar @ The Gardens. Their food was really good!

My 'before-everything's-done' look. Didn't put on makeup (besides eyebrow) and my skin was so dull! Wasn't taking good care of my face the past few day as I slept with makeup on. :x It very bad, don't do it kay!

Our instructor gave us a talk about skincare tips & KOSÉ SEKKISEI products before we try them out.

Do you know this KOSÉ SEKKISEI range is based on a “beautiful translucent skin recipe” containing items carefully selected out of approximately 100 types of oriental plants? The star product - KOSÉ SEKKISEI lotion creates fine-textured, hydrated, translucent skin like snow, using the hydrating power of gentle oriental plant extracts. It also balances out the skin’s moisture levels, preventing dullness, roughness, and pimples caused by dryness, as well as redness caused by sunburn from sunlight.

To start your daily skincare routine, removing makeup is a MUST! Even you weren't putting on any makeup, you'll still need to practice this to remove dirts/dust from your face for your to absorb the skincare product you applied.

First take out cherry-size portion of KOSÉ SEKKISEI Cleansing Cream & spread it evenly on your face.


Massage your face softly for a while and remove it with cotton pad as illustrate on the image above! Start from chin to forehead and wipe downwards. Cleanse your face after this :)

Aaaaaand it's mask time! As a star product of the whole range with 3 main ingredients including Coix Seed Extracts, Angelica Extracts and Melothria Extracts, KOSÉ SEKKISEI lotion mask offers 10 times higher moisture and instantly brightens and rejuvenates your skin. It also brighten up skin tone, calm skin inflammation, tighten pores & even up skin tone! This is my favourite mask so far cuz it is really super effective, my face does looks brighter & smoother instantly yooo (✧≖‿ゝ≖)

Follow up with KOSÉ SEKKISEI Emulsion after applying mask for around 10 - 15 minutes. 2 full pumps of emulsion produces melanin & prevents freckles, dark spots & dry rough skin caused by UV rays. Formulated with Moisture Balance Polymer (developed by KOSÉ ) to maintain the skin's moisture-retaining balance against ambient air.

The hands-on session's ended by applying White BB Cream. The SEKKISEI White BB Cream is available in 2 shades, 01 light & 02 normal natural skin tone. It comes with SPF40/PA+++ and also covers blemishes /dullness naturally. I chose 02 as I have darker skin tone & I love the texture of it, smooth & it blends naturally!

She was in the middle of Chicken Pox (poor thing :( ) so she tried to cover them up with just a layer of BB Cream. Her scars was less obvious after applying it.

An 'after' selfie! The instant effects after the workshop I noticed are brighter skin tone, smooth and hydrated face. Can't stop touching my face hahaha. Lighter dark circle also la :p
