The girls, the greeting, the beer,
That calls for a Carlsberg!
After half a year of waiting, Where's the Party 2 has finally presented at 17th of December 2011. With nearly 2months of marketing efforts, creating hypes with it's own mysterious party venue, constantly picking up party-goer's curiosity, Where's The Party has made it successfully at Carlsberg Malaysia's Brewery, Shah Alam, which is the first Carlsberg beer was locally brewed in 1972. Unlike the previous Where's The Party, more than 2000 guests was invited to experience this money-can't-buy party moment with free-flow of Carlsberg and of course, GAMES! Incorporated with an "amusement park" theme, for sure it's a funfair-like party.
Now, can you guess what were the games? ;)
Let's kick off with my favourite game of the day!
THE MIGHTY PIRATE SHIP TO HELL!
Alright I was joking about the name but this is definately the game with overloaded awesome juice! I just can't stop scream my lungs out. SERIOUSLY. Basically I asked all the friends I saw to try it out.
Adult Carousel!
Admit that I'm excited when I saw this. MERRY-GO-ROUND in a beer brewery yo! And there's a ferris wheel as well! With our childhood favourite fun-fair booths: Ring a
Green, Toss & Score, Duck Hunt, ‘Our holes, Your balls’ & Wild Wild
West, Carlsberg Malaysia's Brewery has became an adult wonderland with free-flow of Carlsberg. >:D
With its reputation as the
‘party of the year’, this time, a key highlight of the party was the Sky Ride,
which gave partygoers an exhilarating experience of being buoyed by a hot air
balloon. I wanted to try this game so so much but the queue was forever as long as my grandmother's story! But nehmai! I tried something really rare to play with, which are the circus acts included stilt walkers, unicyclists,
jugglers and balloon sculptors, and my talent wasn't discovered yet, but I had a good laughter that night! *wink wink*
And this guy's balloon sculpture was really epic. Blessed with Fairy Godmother? ;)
Bumped into my future ah sou Emily hohoho
There were also various group challenge games
such as ‘Road Runner’, ‘Peddle to the Bell’ and ‘Dare to Dash?’ which aimed to
engage all partygoers and create a community spirit among them.
To ensure the party fellows drinking responsibly, peoples are allowed to have 4cups of Carlsberg before 7pm. After 7pm? BREAKING FREEEEEEEEEE. It's a free-flow of Carlsberg whole night! And lotsa mobile toilets are provided throughout the whole event so no worries if you wanna pee! ;) Now drinks matter-sloved, WHERE'S THE FOOOOOOD?

The Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers yo! ;)
Did you just asked about how's the music performance? Here you go. Highlighting a list of internationals DJs, renowned rappers, bands and musicians. Locally
acclaimed performers Dennis Lau and Shawn Lee presented a thumping combination
of an electric violin and beat boxing. Special group appearances by famous
Korean star, Lee An, the unforgettably spontaneous star rapper of Carlsberg
Malaysia, Mr Soren Ravn along with violinist Dennis Lau awed the party crowd
further.
Dennis Lau x Soren Ravn x Lee An in da house yo!
How can you missed out our homegrown beatbox champion? IT'S SHAWN LEE!
And this is our local band- Crossfire, my favourite band of the night! Good choice of songs performed, they heat up the party atmosphere effortlessly. Simply awesome to the max!
SEE ALL THE PARTY FACES?
Paperplane Pursuit had the
crowd dancing to their chart topping hits. World renowned girl band ‘High on
Heels’ also made their first appearance in Malaysia and entertained the crowd
with their creative mix of LIVE classical instruments with song mixing on their
turntables. “Where’s The Party” came to a close around 2am the following
morning after several hours of non-stop music with international DJs; Sophie
Sugar from the UK and Hiloco from Japan.
Thanks Jane for this picture!
Have you noticed I was liking a lot of games on Facebook in the party? Have you wonder how it works? We had assigned a RFID(Radio-Frequency
Identity) tag each person and it's connected to our fb account and and enabled us to update
our Facebook status simply by tagging on the “Like” stations throughout the brewery. They look like this.

Soren Ravn, Managing Director
of Carlsberg Malaysia said “We are thrilled at the extensive reach of Carlsberg’s
“Where’s the Party?” and the immense support and interest garnered from
consumers. The main objectives of the party is to create memorable, inspiring moments
and experiences for consumers as a way of encouraging them to be bold and stepping up to do the right things.
When they think of celebrations and achievements, they will think of the next
level with ‘That Calls for a Carlsberg!’”
In
line with Carlsberg’s philosophy of responsible drinking, Carlsberg encouraged all
partygoers to enjoy responsibly and in moderation. As part of the ‘Enjoy
Responsibly’ campaign, Carlsberg planned engagement activities for consumers
such as the Alcohol Testing Zone,
where consumers had their alcohol level tested while partying and the Drunk Man Zone which enabled consumers
to play an android game which showed them the effect of excessive alcohol
consumption. These activities served as a reminder for all partygoers to be safe,
in control, drink smart and stick to the age limit.
If you missed it, have a look at the video! hahaha :D
