Amber Chia. Who says local talent can't go far. The Malaysian's first ever model have prove it with her determination and passion of going after what she wish to perceive has bring her to another top level . She has now become successful and well known not only in local but also international level. Moreover, she has a new born baby boy to take care yet she could balance the time spare with family and career. Her " Keep Walking" attitude never stop her from being so successful and influential to the younger generation.
ReplyDeleteNamawee. I admire him alot.. his 1 brave fella who is never afraid to critic and speak out about our malaysia. He is the person i respect most. How many would voice out their unhappy/hidden feelings in this kind of way like wat he did? He made and impact to my life, hearing him out makes me become a better person who dares to speak up for people or even for myself. I salute he!
ReplyDeleteWee Meng Chee (Namewee) because he achieved success by his unwavering determination.Despite critism from his controversial songs,he soldiered on to produce his first movie "NasiLemak 2.0" to conquer racism and promote unity among races. His BOLDness and courage as a pioneer in his life mission awes me.Inspired by him,I garnered the determination to enter a engineering contest despite my hectic timetable.I learnt that we must keep walking to achieve what we want in life.I won.

Irene Fernandez
ReplyDeleteShe is an incredible woman who as a prominent Malaysian human right activist, gave voice to the women, immigrant worker and the poor. Irene Fernandez embodies the best of Malaysia even as the worst elements of Malaysian power have long sought to silence her. Her grace, strength, courage and endurance encourage everyone out there especially women to "Keep Walking" and that we can make a difference.

The late Yasmin Ahmad to me epitomizes the meaning of “Keep Walking”. The “Keep Walking” spirit can be seen in her works that even now, her movies and commercials are still being enjoyed and will be remembered eternally. Her works brought many insightful messages to us and continues to make an impact on us Malaysians. Even though she passed on, her works will be forever etched in our hearts.

ReplyDeleteDoctor Mahathir, he's the fourth but and also the most successful prime minister that brought Malaysia from an undeveloped country to one developing. Not only did he implement powerful and efficient policies to govern Malaysia but he's also the most impressive prime minister everyone respects and honors, that even after he has been dismissed, his spirits "keep walking" to date.

Thinking of Fish Leong, she was once a ugly duckling with stupid glasses and braces - ugly Betty look. The ordinary appearance didn't even cause anyone approached but she sings very well and wishes to be a singer. Due to the hardwork and tough journey, she's now one of the Top Malaysian Singer which proud us all. There's nothing impossible, as long as you KEEP GOING, well use the chances... you'll still achieving goals.

Jason Lo, definitely. From having a fairly successful music career to owning his own record label (and later being the CEO of tunetalk), there is no limits to what one can do. Which is something I try to emulate in my own career at the moment(Learning guitar, took vocal lessons, ballroom to name a few). And that, is the epitome of "Keep Walking"

ReplyDeleteAnnie Ooi aka Aunty Bersih(The lady who wore a yellow t-shirt holding a flower during the Rally Bersih 2.0). The reason she inspires in life would be her "Keep Walking" spirits. Though she was troubled by policemen, was weaken by tear-gas, sprayed by chemical water, she still "Keep Walking" towards her belief and determination for Malaysia. I believe with her spirit of "Keep Walking", we could achieve anything we want if we believe and we "Keep Walking" towards it.

Tunku Abdul Rahman because he did not give up in his quest to achieve independence. He went to negotiate Malayan independence few times and the second time with Tun Tan Cheng Lock was a success. He is definitely a good role model to potray a strong word which is "Keep Walking" because of his enthusiasm and perseverance. Lets thanks him because now we can Keep Walking with Johnnie Walker.
